A full connector understanding
requires several layers of information that are easy to confuse. Contact count
is not the same as contact role. Physical arrangement is not the same as
polarity. A title-level configuration is not the same as a drawing. In a
battery pack connector context, the difference is especially important because
the interface may sit near energy storage, power distribution, sensing, or
control circuits. Even a simple-looking connector label may hide decisions about
creepage distance, insulation, terminal size, mating sequence, contact plating,
locking style, and strain relief. These items normally belong to the
specification sheet, drawing package, or engineering communication, not to a
short product title.
